The fight for COVID-19 is far from over even with the development of vaccines and the ongoing vaccination programs. Recently, it was confirmed that the new strain of COVID has already been detected in the Philippines. Although there are not enough studies about this new UK-variant, experts say that it is more contagious and can easily spread compared to the earlier variant. According to WHO, handwashing remains to be one of the effective and best defenses we have to keep diseases at bay. COVID-19 transmission my spread through direct or indirect contact through contaminated surfaces which is why it is important to wash your hands with soap and water at regular intervals or after you cough, sneeze, handling waste products, caring for the sick, or simply after touching common surfaces such as doorknobs and handles.

Always Wear Your Face Masks (and Face Shields)

Be considerate of others and wear your face mask properly whenever you go outside. Face masks help protect you from droplets that may contain germs or viruses. It also filters out large airborne particles in the air. At the same time, you also protect others by reducing the amount of respiratory droplets you may secrete knowing or unknowingly. Face masks have already been proven to reduce the spread of COVID-19 when people in public places use them.

How do we make your AIR really SAFE? When symptomatic or asymptomatic carriers occupy an enclosed area, there is a build up of pathogenic particles in the air.
