This is a true story: the electric bill of this house with solar went from Php 10,000 to Php 164!

The homeowner used to pay Php 10,000 monthly for electricity with multiple lights, fans, computer, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, induction stove, and aircon running the entire day. What makes AirSAFE different from the other air purifier brands in the market? And how does it clean the air that we breathe?

5. High Efficiency HEPA Filter – available in AS40, AS95 and AS-MAX. These fiber filters work together to trap and eliminate 99.97% of airborne germs, dust and particles. Efficiency depends from 99.97 to 99.9%, depending of the HEPA grade level you have.

6. UV Lights – available in AS40, AS95 and AS-MAX. The AirSAFE units uses 365 nanometer UV wavelengths and can effectively kill a variety of airborne bacteria, viruses, and micro-organisms that get trapped in the filter box.

7. 
   Anion Purifier – available in AS40 and AS95 models. This feature releases charged ions in the air, making them bond in potentially harmful particles suspended in the air. The particles become now heavy to stay afloat and falls in to the ground to be sucked or vacuumed up by the other components of your AirSAFE.

With the storms ongoing, you might be thinking “will the rain affect my solar system?”

This is a popular misconception. Your solar panels will still continue to produce electricity even in the most freezing weather. In fact, the cooler the temperature, the better for your solar panels compared to warm and scorching heat during the summer. Yes, your solar panels perform at their maximum at lower temperatures with bright sun.

The simple explanation for this is because solar panels create electricity from the sun’s light and not heat. Although solar and heat seem to be a likely pair, heat in fact can reduce the electricity production of solar panels because they increase the electron’s energy levels thus the high energy transfers into heat instead of electricity and interferes with electricity production causing what you call a “heat loss”.

What matters is on the inside

Even exposed to the same amount of sunlight, too much heat on the solar panels will cause drops in the energy produced. External temperatures do not affect the sunlight gathered by the solar panels but it does impact how energy is produced inside the cells.
