AIRSAFE 101: CLEAN AIR DELIVERY RATE

The importance of good ventilation has never been more critical, especially with the latest confirmation of airborne transmission of the COVID-19 virus by the World Health Organization. CADR Rating

The common way to measure an air purifier’s performance is through its clean air delivery rate or CADR rating. Depending on its rate, an air purifier’s CADR will give you an idea on how fast it can remove particles like dust, pollen, or allergen from the air on a specific room size. CADR ratings are very important when buying air purifiers similar to how you define a horsepower of an air-conditioning unit. The higher the CADR rating, the powerful the air purifier’s fan is and can even cover larger areas such as our limited edition and commercial-grade air purifier juggernaut, the AirSAFE MAX, which can cover up to 98sqm of room size with its 800 cubic per meter CADR rating.

The AirSAFE series

Since the virus can remain suspended in the air for hours and can continue to build up in spaces with inadequate ventilation, Solaric’s #AirSAFE is equipped with state of the art technology and replacement filters readily available to provide you cleaner and safer air for your homes, businesses and offices.

The AirSAFE40 (AS40) is good for 11-22sqm rooms with CADR rating of 150m3h – ultimately perfect for residential use. A bigger unit called AirSAFE95 (AS95) is available for rooms with 34-58sqm in size. It has a higher CADR rating (488m3h) compared to other units available in the market and popular with the health care professionals and facilities. All AirSAFE models are equipped with an internal UV light, Japanese pollution sensors, and a standard H11 HEPA filter that can be upgraded to a medical grade of H13.
