REPLACING FILTERS FOR YOUR AIR PURIFIERS? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Your air purifier’s main role is to capture, trap and destroy harmful airborne particles floating in the air. While you can leave your air purifier running for a long time to do its job, you can step up your role in ensuring that your units are filtering the air at its best by making sure that your filters are still in good condition.

One of the best advantages of having an AirSAFE is that it comes with readily available replacement filters at the local Solaric store, so that when time comes that they are due for replacement, you can easily purchase them to ensure your air purifier’s efficiency. No need to buy a brand new unit when your filter becomes too dirty and inefficient to use.

Replacing your filters

Depending on what model of AirSAFE you have, the Carbon and HEPA filter are replaced in a set every 3 to 6 months or depending on how heavily polluted your area is. The pre-filter that comes with the AS95 and AS-MAX models can be considered as a permanent filter and doesn’t need to be replaced but cleaning them periodically will help remove any dust or large particle build ups that have accumulated over time.

Except with the AS95 model that comes with a filter change reminder, the AirSAFE units will still give you a signal if the filters are already due for replacement. For example, if the red light indicator continues to be flashed with no signs of changes for more than an hour after turning on the machine can mean that your filters are too dirty and needs to be replaced immediately. You may also vacuum and place your filters under the sun to prolong its lifespan. Make sure to wear masks and gloves when opening your units and replacing your filters for your own safety.

Purchasing a replacement filter for your AirSAFE units always come in a set of Carbon/Cold Catalyst and Antibacterial cloth/HEPA filter. The following are the prices of the filters as of November 2021:
