What is included?
Solaric’s rainy day deals cover the engineering, design, supply, and installation of the grid-tie system for GI sheet roofs within Metro Manila. It includes the 12-years manufacturer warranty and 25-years power output guarantee of solar panels, a 5-years warranty for the solar inverter, and a complete mounting system capable of withstanding strong winds and typhoons up to 250kph!
Additional charges will apply for other roof types, and for facilities located outside of Metro Manila.
Will I be able to use my aircon with my solar?
Definitely yes! For as low as Php111,000, Solaric’s starter package of a 1.8kWp grid-tie system can power one (1) horsepower air-conditioning unit, together with your other appliances like lights, televisions, refrigerator, electric fans, computers, and gadgets during daytime.
The 3.2kWp package priced at Php170,000 can already power a total of 3.5hp of air conditioning units while the 5.4kWp package priced at Php240,000 can power a total of 4.5hp of air-conditioning units.
Does solar work even work during rainy days?
Yes. Contrary to popular belief of solar not working during rainy and cloudy days, your solar energy system continues to function and harvest energy through the amount of light being reflected on the solar panels. The result, however, is a much lower harvest compared to your usual sunny days. There is an upside to rainfall though: rain can naturally clean your solar panels and remove any accumulated dirt, dust and debris that may cause energy losses when neglected.
You do not even need to worry about whether solar can survive typhoons. By nature, solar panels are waterproof and should be able to resist any uplift or detachment from your roof.
