Solaric and PTT
We thank PTT for choosing us to undertake their pioneer project in combining #Solar to their gas stations to improve their carbon footprint and lower costs of operations. This powers their Barista training school and skills center in EDSA. Gas pumps and espresso machines are surprisingly power-hungry appliances.
PTT deployed a 15.6kWp solution that can yield about 20MWh of energy a year or roughly P220k in savings by sourcing a large amount of power from the sun, versus predominantly grid-bought coal energy. Simple fact: A single solar panel has the power potential to knock off P400 a month from your electric bill.
In the very near future, gas stations will slowly be adapting to Electric Vehicle charging stations. PTT decided to embrace the future and start the process of transformation to a greener economy and energy solution space.
