But what makes this unit a class leader on its own?
Pre-Washable Filter
One of the unique features of AirSCRUB95 that makes it also different from its sister unit, the AirSCRUB40, is that it comes with a pre-washable filter that comes handy for long time use. This aluminum-framed filter is the first line of defense against bigger debris like pet hair, insects, and dust particles. This filter reduces the stress the bigger debris can cause on the HEPA filter and can be cleaned once or twice a month, depending on your use.
Activated Carbon and Cold Catalyst Filter
The next line of defense is the activated carbon filter partnered with a cold catalyst filter which takes away the unwanted and unpleasant odor that we associate from fried fish, smelly socks, to stronger smelling compounds like formaldehyde.
HEPA Filter
The green fabric that makes up the AirSCRUB95 HEPA filter, also known as the “anti-microbial fabric” is imported from the U.S. This added layer of defense can easily scrub 0.3-micron air, and has a CADR or clean air delivery rate of 488 cubic meters per hour and maintain a 99.95 rating on PM 2.5 which is greater compared to other commercially available air purifiers in the market today. For added measure, anti-bacterial coated fabric is placed ahead of the HEPA filter. An option of H13 filter to a higher specification of 0.1 micron is also available.
UV Light
The UV light which is located inside the AirSCRUB95 will kill organisms that are trapped inside the filter box. This sterilizes the harmful elements that the AirSCRUB95 detects.
Humidifier and Motor Tech
The AirSCRUB95 has a humidifier which can carry up to 1liter of water which can last up to 12 hours of operation. Increasing the humidity in the air makes an unfavorable environment for viruses. In fact, if air is more humid, the air gets thicker making particles fly shorter distances. The AirSCRUB95 also runs in a Japanese Nidec DC Motor which provides the air suction and durability we want for our products. With its Japan AI technology, the AirSCRUB95 can automatically adjust its fan speed depending on how polluted the air it detects. Not to mention it also has a night mode and tilt off sensor, an ion purifier, and child lock!
