- They have a questionable background

In choosing solar equipment, prioritize solar panel efficiency, manufacturer reputation in the market, warranties against industry average (10 to 25 years), and compare the cost to relative efficiency. The most efficient equipment is not necessarily delivering the best value. Always consider cost-effectiveness. Take note of risks because defects, repairs, underperformance will add costs in the long-term.
COST
Expensive solar panel systems do not necessarily mean that they are the best. Likewise, cheaper solar solutions are not necessarily the ones you should get. Make sure to invest in Tier 1 panels, reputable manufacturers of solar equipment and inverters, and only choose those that come with warranties.

Poor workmanship results in exposed or undersized wirings, and these result in electrocution and fire hazards. All installations must be executed in accordance with the standards of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC). Make sure your solar company of choice knows exactly what they are doing, with people with the right credentials and expertise.
