The world has turned upside down this 2020. Everything is different. School is now in, but this school year is very, very different. With the COVID-19 threat lurking in every corner of the world, and lockdowns looming and ready to happen instantaneously, everyone is trying to adjust and adapt to the new normal. We need to boost our bandwidth, propel ourselves forward in this digital era, indulge our kids in home school, and take care of that budget-draining electric bill for good.
Solar is the solution for bill shock
At Solaric, we always recommend putting enough solar to cover the typical or usual daytime appliances as the minimum recommended amount of solar for fastest return on investment. However, just like our electric bills lately, this “typical” consumption is much greater than before. Before the pandemic, the kids will go to school, and the parents will go to work, and the electric bill was much lower. Now, however, we have what is being referred to as the Bill Shock – because we are now seeing the highest residential electric bills ever in recorded history.
