There’s a solution to every problem

PV Info Link released data last week that meant a strong market increase of 25% for solar panles in the Philippines and across the world next year. PV Info Link analysts claim that 16 countries around the globe will increase its solar capacity by more than 1 GigaWatt. The module sales estimated for next year was at around 112 GW. Data was based on statistical numbers and solar targets of countries worldwide.

Huge population and huge solar capacity

Last year, China raked in its share of installed global PV capacity and records show that they installed more than half the world market. Although this is expected to decrease next year, Europe states are expected to increase their share of solar capacity.

Tell me what’s trending

Global trends expected next year include: increased partnerships and consolidation among manufacturers due to cost reduction, decreased prices for PV panels and solar products, larger or thicker modules, advanced solar technologies, increased solar product efficiency due to advances, developed bifacial modules, robots that clean solar panels, building-integrated PV (BIPV), drones that monitor solar farms, conduct preventive maintenance, further developments in inverters, and solar cars (specifically Kia and Hyundai).

What about the Pinoys?

The Solar Show Philippines 2019 says it loud and clear: The future is solar. With the Solar Adoption Act being brewed, the Philippines is clearly on the renewable path towards a more sustainable 2030. Philippines has joined the humanity in addressing global warming caused by greenhouse gas pollution. It’s almost 2019 and Filipinos are being ushered into the era of solar energy and sustainable living.

Solaric still has a lot of work to do. If the Philippines does its part to reverse climate change, our country needs to install at least 300 MegaWatts a year of solar rooftop,” says Mike De Guzman, President of Solaric Corp. Yes, the vision is promising in as much as it is inspiring. The solar revolution is just getting started.

Solaric has established its name across the renewable industry as a proven and reputable rooftop solar leader. Solaric has installed more than 50% of residential rooftop solar in the country and has delivered significant cost reductions in electricity expenses. Solaric is now zoning in on corporate and industrial projects to offer them the same cost reductions. Welcome to the new generation of solar and turning on the sun.
